He has been involved in information and knowledge-sharing in the agricultural value chain. In the year 2019, he initiated a Pan Africa project (Africa Agriculture Agenda) to aggressively advocate for the betterment of the continent through agriculture. So far, AAA or “The Triple-A” as it’s called by supporters has three regional Directors in Nigeria, East Africa Director, Country Directors in Ethiopia,Jamaica,Malawi, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Uganda, United States of America, United Kingdom, Zambia and Zimbabwe.The VISION and MISSION of AAA are to Make Agriculturists Out of Everyone for the Security of Life and To make the culture of Agric attractive to all while providing a specialized platform for businesses to promote their brands.

Editor-In-Chief

A pleasurable worker in his chosen endeavour, from his base in Nigeria, he serves as the Editor-In-Chief of a Tokyo-based Corper News24, an online news medium. He was also responsible for the naming and brand identity of the platform.

A Publisher

Mr. Akhigbe is the publisher of the Africa Agriculture Agenda Journal (AAAJ). The 188-page journal was formally presented to the public in a ceremony on March 23, 2019, at The Patron Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria and has since attracted overwhelming commendation from the agriculture fraternity and beyond. The journal promotes businesses in the agriculture sector in Africa and to the African diaspora as we see this as part of trading and building Africa’s economy.
While our reportage focuses broadly on all classes of African farmers (whether smallholder-based or public enterprises) and their farming activities, other agribusinesses; in terms of readership, the journal’s readership objective is targeted at smallholder farmers who can at least read, elite farmers and those who love what they do; such categories of institutions span from agriculture research institutions, pharmaceutical and beauty industries, beverages and furniture sectors, agricultural machines and technology industries, universities and colleges of agriculture, financial institutions, agriculture-related cooperatives, policymakers across the board who may be continental, international organisations and diplomatic circles, and ultimately, appeal to readers who currently are not fans of agriculture.

Our editorial team comprises of experienced journalists and scholars, including the Chairman of our Editorial Board, Dr. Osita Aniemeka, a veteran journalist and the founding president of Sub-Saharan Open University; our editor, Ms Ebuoluwa Oladipo, an educationist based in the United States of America; Mr. Weneso Oregun, an economist and former Managing Director/Editor-in-chief of Financial Standard, former Editor-At-Large, Thisday Newspaper, former Chairman, Editorial Board of BusinessDay Newspaper; Prof. Ikechi Agbugba, academia and researcher in the education sector who serves as AAA’s Director, Research & Development/International Coordinator.

A Biographer

Mr. Akhigbe loves to read and write biographies of history makers. To this end, his company has a biographic department. So far, he has authored three biographies, namely: Heroine of Faith; Resilient: A Biographic Account of a Nigerian Oba in Kogi State; and The Billionaire’s Journey: The Poverty to Wealth Story of Dr. Augustine Onwunmere, the PWAN Co-Founder.

A Youth Leadership Developer

A lover and campaigner of leadership development at the secondary school level, he is the Chief Strategist of Oba Samuel Sunday Tolorunse Education Foundation (OSSTEF), headquarters in Kogi State, North Central, Nigeria; and the Convener of Pan Africa Senior Secondary Agriculture Debate (PASSSAD), an agricultural leadership initiative to inspire young Africans to take an active interest in agriculture.

Objectives Of PASSSAD

• To keep the students mentally busy
• To test the student’s knowledge of Africa’s agriculture
• To influence the students to take an interest in all aspects of agriculture including policies
• To raise agriculture-conscious students
• To help the students see agriculture as the only viable economic alternative for Africa
• To get more young people to take a keen interest in agriculture to reduce drastically the current youth apathy towards agriculture
• To increase agricultural conversation in school corridors
• To eliminate the current stigma against students of agriculture and create respect for them among students of other disciplines
• To impact agroeconomic knowledge on the students
• To ultimately equip the students as socially relevant leaders

An Advocate of Female Leadership Across Boards

He is a firm believer in female leadership development and an activist for gender equality. When he presented his book (God’s Diamond Called Woman) to the public, the theme was “PATH TO ELECTING NIGERIA’S FIRST FEMALE GOVERNORS IN 2027”. Professor Remi Sonaiya, a former Presidential Candidate in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, delivered the Keynote Message. Several dignitaries including Apostle Mrs. BusolaJegede, Founder and President of Daughters of Destiny International Fellowship, and Ahmed Buhari, a former Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidate.
